Hrvoje Stojić is a highly skilled finance professional, with 18 years of experience in the banking industry. He established, inspired and headed one of the SEE region’s renown Macro- / investment research analyst team for about 15 years. As a Group Economic Research Director of Addiko Bank, he did a comprehensive intertwined macroeconomic, foreign exchange and interest rate coverage for the euro zone and a number of CSE markets.
He has been versatile in equity market top-down macro research and bottom-up sector, company valuation and other corporate finance mandates (due diligence, restructuring et al) thanks to in-depth knowledge of financial statements and valuation techniques.
Since 2014 he received a number of forecast accuracy awards for Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina in a global competition surveyed by Consensus Economics and Focus Economics.
During 2015-2018, he was a Croatian delegate in the Chief Economist Group of the European Banking Federation. His client-centric approach has ranged from Macroeconomic outlook and regional client events for the past 13 years to foreign investor and rating firms presentations to liaison to key institutions.
Hired by Foreign Investor Council in Croatia, he was Editor-in-Chief of the White Book document (2016-2017) including policy recommendations in areas such as business climate, judiciary, tax system, labour issues as well as financial markets.
He is also a regular speaker at many domestic and regional conferences and one of the most quoted economic analysts in the region, whose comments are also regularly broadcasted by renowned international media.
