Andrei is a forward-thinking executive with over four years at Profi, where he began as CFO and progressively expanded his responsibilities to encompass IT, Digital, and Cybersecurity, now also serving as Chief Transformation and Integration Officer. Passionate about staying ahead of the tech curve, he believes real business power lies in anticipating emerging innovations—always with the goal of creating better experiences for customers, employees, and partners.

In 2025, Andrei stepped into the role of Chief Transformation and Integration Officer for Ahold Delhaize Romania, where he leads strategic integration, organizational transformation, and value creation across the business.

With a strong belief in data-driven decision-making, Andrei champions Business Intelligence, automation and AI as key enablers of seamless, fast, and fair value delivery. His vision blends process excellence with technological innovation—ranging from automated forecasting to personalized offers.

Previously, he held senior leadership roles including Deputy CFO at Telekom, Finance Director at Vodafone, and key positions at METRO, PwC, and Saatchi. He brings a proven track record in M&A, Finance, IT, Cybersecurity, and Business Transformation—delivering EBITDA growth, cash optimization, and long-term operational impact across diverse markets.

He is focused on business transformation through people ownership, simplified and automated processes, early technology adoption, digital development and data driven decision, all being aimed to maximize the enterprise value.

Andrei has come back to retail business 2 years ago, joining Profi, the largest grocery store network in Romania, with 1,650 stores in 735 localities, 2.3 billion sales and 1.3 million daily customers in 2022 and growing… He is very proud to sustain company development strategy by store chain expansion using the new Profi concept, partners store management and digital agenda.
