Selected recent deals include advising a leading Japanese confectionary player on its investment in a Swiss premium chocolate producer, advising Roth Privatstiftung on the acquisition of a c.28% stake in Saubermacher, advising Erste Asset Management on the acquisition of Impact Asset Management, advising Swisspor on the acquisition of Creaton East from Terreal Group, advising the owners of AdePlast on the sale of the company to Sika AG, advising Quadriga Capital on the sale of Aspire Education to EMZ Partners, advising the shareholders of Sits on the sale to Actona Group

Klaus joined DC Advisory in 2024 as Managing Director and Co-Head of the Vienna office. Previously, Klaus was Co-Head of Austria & CEE at Alantra, prior to that he was Global Co-Head Corporate Finance Advisory at UniCredit. Before that he led the Austria & CEE Corporate Finance teams of UniCredit and Erste Group

2000-2010, Klaus worked in London in the Investment Banking divisions of Lehman Brothers (Global Consumer Retail Investment Banking) and UBS (Austria & CEE Investment Banking)

Klaus has a MSc in Law from University of Vienna and a MSc in Finance from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration

He is fluent in German, English and French. Intermediate understanding of Polish and Russian
