Michał Halwa is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Studenac, one of the fastest-growing retail chains in Central and Eastern Europe and the largest grocery retailer in Croatia by number of stores.

He joined Studenac in 2020 to support the company’s transformation and growth.

Michał began his career at PwC, where he spent nearly ten years in financial audit and business advisory roles. In 2010, he became CFO and Board Member of Dino, a leading Polish grocery retailer, playing a key role during a period of dynamic, PE-backed growth and expansion. He later held CFO and board-level positions in several Polish and international companies across industries including automotive (Nordglass, AGC), FMCG (Twinings Poland), and retail IT services (Exorigo-UPOS).

Michał has been a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2005.
