Natalia Zhukova

Natalia Zhukova is Director of the Food and Agribusiness sector team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The EBRD is an international financial institution owned by 74 countries and two intergovernmental organisations (EU and EIB). The Bank operates in nearly 40 economies across multiple regions, including Central and Eastern Europe, Türkiye, Central Asia, the Middle East and North and Sub-Saharan Africa.
The EBRD is the largest provider of financing to the private agribusiness sector in the Western Balkans. It provides over €800 million annually of financing to the sector with a total portfolio of more than €3 billion of investments. The institution’s food and agribusiness clients include leading international and local companies operating across the entire food value chain – from primary production and agri-processing to distribution and retail.
Natalia joined the EBRD at the end of 2004 as an Associate Banker in the Food and Agribusiness team, progressing to Associate Director in 2010. During this time, she was instrumental in increasing the food and agribusiness portfolio in Russia. In 2015, Natalia assumed a temporary regional responsibility for Food and Agribusiness in Türkiye, Central Asia and the Caucasus, and was Regional Head of Food and Agribusiness in Russia, Central Asia, Greece and Cyprus, until 2017 when she became the Director of Food and Agribusiness.
Before joining the EBRD, Natalia worked as a Deputy Head of the Risk Analysis division at VTB retail arm, DeltaCredit, and in the private sector.
