Mr. Boniaszczuk is Head of Transactions in the Food and Agribusiness team at the EBRD, co-managing a team of investment professionals investing in food value chain transactions in the EBRD’s countries of operations, with a specific focus on Central and Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Türkiye and Central Asia.

Mr. Boniaszczuk has over 20 years of experience in development and impact investing, with a focus on sustainability, climate change, resource and energy efficiency, environment, nature, inclusion and corporate governance.  Mr. Boniaszczuk has been closely involved in setting the Bank’s strategy for food systems and has engaged in discussions and policy dialogue with various public and private stakeholders, including governments and non-governmental organisations.

Before becoming an investment professional, Mr. Boniaszczuk practiced as an attorney at several international law firms where he worked on banking and capital market transactions.

Mr. Boniaszczuk holds a law degree from Gdansk University in Poland and a Master of Laws diploma from Columbia University in New York, USA.
