Zsuzsanna Hargitai

Zsuzsanna Hargitai is Regional Director for Western Balkans at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Based in Serbia, Zsuzsanna focuses on increasing the EBRD’s investments and

enhancing policy reform advisory services in the region in light of the countries’ European Union (EU) approximation. During her long career at EBRD she worked, among others, as country manager in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia and Hungary. As Director, she also led the work of the teams for Country Strategy and Results Management as well as for EU Funds Co-Financing and Financial Instruments at EBRD headquarters. She holds a Master’s Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
