Dorian Macovei has over 20 years of investment and finance experience across CEE and the Baltic states. He is currently serving as CFO of Verdino Green Foods, the company he invested in while with Black Peak Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in growth equity in Southeast Europe. Dorian assumed the role of the ESG Officer for Black Peak Capital and deployed ESG policies at the fund level and investees companies. Previously, Dorian was a key executive, IC member, and one of the founding partners of EMSA Capital – a €93m special situations fund dedicated to turnaround investments in the CEE region. Overall conducted 11 deals and 6 exit processes in the Baltic countries, Serbia, Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania. Dorian graduated from the Academy of Economic Sciences in Bucharest. Dorian is a CFA Chartholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
